5 crazy things Nigeria police force must change in 2017

Nigerian policy should please stop this for this year

The mode of operation of the police force in any country, speaks a lot about what the society would look like, if there is one force that could be blamed for the decadence in the Nigeria, then it is none other than the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).

Below are 5 practices by the NPF that have been deemed insane, they are to be abolished and the standards of the force must be lifted a bit higher than it is at the moment.

1. Arrest without warrant

This practice is totally unprofessional, men of the NPF do not have the right to just arrest anyone at will, the individual 2.  Unnecessary shootings

To a great extent, one will not be wrong to say that many men clad in police uniforms are trigger happy, and this stems from the fact that they lack proper training. The police is to serve the civilian populace, civil being the word, the streets are no battlefields were sporadic shootings are acceptable. Each policeman must be made to account for every bullet fired, that way sanity can be restored. There are other means to bring people to obey and be calm, other than indiscriminate shooting. arrested has his rights. The obtainable standard is that there is a written warrant/authorization to arrest whoever must be arrested, in doing this, the rule of law will be upheld.
