Nnamdi Kanu's father allegedly missing, several dead after soldiers' reported invasion

The Nigerian army reportedly invaded the home of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu

- NAIJ.com is yet to independently verify the reports, but there are allegations that Kanu's father was kidnapped

- The Nigerian army has however confirmed that Operation Python Dance will continue

 earlier published that unconfirmed reports have it that Nnamdi Kanu, in Abia state.

In a statement sent to  on Thursday evening, September 14, Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, said the soldiers forcefully gained entrance into his client's house after shooting for about 40 minutes.

He said the entrance gate of the IPOB leader’s residence was broken-down and forced open. Following the alleged invasion, a video has surfaced showing people allegedly killed by the Nigerian army.

In the video, it was said that Nnamdi Kanu's father was missing and the soldiers allegedly stormed into the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nigerian army had invaded killing several innocent people.

Many believe that the video was made by Nnamdi Kanu himself. In it he can be heard saying that more than four people were killed and his father alongside several others were taken away.

Popular Pro-Biafra reporter, Somto Okonkwo, who made a live video on his Facebook page of the alleged attack was also reportedly missing.
